It’s hard for me to explain offensive comedy, and really how “too soon” and the sort doesn’t really exist. Remember a clip of Ricky Gervais saying it’s all about context. I don’t think people who don’t understand offensive comedy already will get it with just that line. Something I will have to continue thinking about. As the old Einstein quote goes that I love, “If you can’t explain something simply you don’t understand it well enough.”
